  • Maltz Performing Arts Center (map)

Who all has a part to play in the wellness of mothers and babies in our community?

Two women on stage singing with a violinist and cellist.

In Cuyahoga County, black mothers are 2.5 times more likely to die from a pregnancy related cause than white mothers, and black infants are 4.6 times more likely to die than white infants.

Join Renovare Music for an immersive experience of instrumental music, poetry, narratives, and original Documentary Songs written collaboratively with members of our community who know these realities first hand.

This hour-long performance will be followed by a panel discussion to help us reflect, discuss, and respond to the testimonies we have heard. Come be inspired to embrace and support flourishing for all our neighbors.

Guest artists include poet “Vision” (Nailah Muhammad), and vocalists Salina Turner, Fred Clark, and LaToya Kent. Our panelists will include:

  • Leah Ross, Moderator and Executive Director of New City Cleveland
