Although the concerts have ended, the relationships built have not. We are excited to continue to grow in our connection with this beautiful neighborhood on the east side of Cleveland.

“The lessons I learned this summer were far subtler than last year and I often took them for granted. Looking back, I can see how they form a unique calling to community in my own life as a participant in the composite rhythm of the body of Christ.”

It was beautiful to see rooms full of people, whether at a coffee shop, inside a prison, or at a homeless shelter, discussing America’s complicated history and making music with us - especially those who had never heard of Juneteenth before.

Renovare was honored to be featured in an article in the SHAD Connection, a local Cleveland newspaper.

The most recent Renovare events that I have experienced left me asking myself “what stories am I unwilling to tell and get near to?”

And so began an exploration into the life of Patrick, and what it could be like to have a concert with Irish music that could take residents out of prison for an hour while exploring the life of this man turned saint.

Renovare was invited back to Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA as guest chapel speakers!

Through the work of Renovare I get to see God’s presence in more ways than I would have ever imagined, and as a result my trust in the Lord grows. Day by day, I see light in dark places.

Believing that we all have a part to play in the wellbeing of our community, Renovare embarked on a journey to use our musical gifts in service of Black infant and maternal vitality.

Trust us when we say these concerts spanned a wide variety of genres. We took on a little bit of everything, from Eminem to Beethoven to The Charlie Daniels Band!
