December Updates

What a joy to share music through 9 concerts this month!

From 2 children's concerts for kids in the Clark-Fulton and Stockyards neighborhoods...

to performances in 3 different prisons (each with a sing-along!)...

to playing for refugees and immigrants from over 10 countries...

to sharing music with patients and caregivers at St. Vincent Hospital...

(and more!)...

...December has been full of opportunities to share the love of God through music with neighbors in Northeast Ohio.

"A musical light in a dark place..."

One of our performances was for over 55 residents at the Mansfield Correctional Institution. It was our first time being invited to perform at this prison, and we were warmly welcomed.

Also memorable was the performance our students at the Grafton Correctional Institution gave last week.

It was the first time in two years that they had the chance to perform for members of the public, due to the pandemic. Music on the concert included 'You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch', 'Pirates of the Caribbean,' 'Amazing Grace,' and more. These men have made so much progress since the program began in 2018. We are so proud of the work that they are doing and the beautiful performance they gave!

If we’ve learned anything from this pandemic, it’s that we need each other. Our deep need for community has been exposed - and so have the deep divides in our community. We’re growing our activities and network in 2022 to respond to the need for restoration, unity, and empathy. While no one knows for certain what next year will hold, we’re eagerly making plans for how we'll pursue these things in 2022, including:
