Pandemic Projects

Greetings from snowy Cleveland! We're thrilled that Lalia has moved to town, where we're hard at work on some new projects:

Lalia in CLE
  • Recording mini concerts to share with the women at the Northeast Reintegration Center, a prison in downtown Cleveland, and guests at the Cosgrove Center, a day drop-in shelter for people experiencing homelessness. While we still aren't allowed to enter either facility due to covid-19 precautions, we're excited for the opportunity to share recorded music with these neighbors.

  • Developing our official monthly giving program, with special perks and opportunities for this generous community. We had a couple of lovely Zoom calls with our existing monthly donors last weekend to get their input on this program (name TBA soon!), and it was so encouraging to connect and share music with them.

  • Planning and rehearsing music for full length concerts, which we hope can resume in person in some capacity this summer! We'll share updates on this front as the weather warms up.

There's not much there yet, but we'll be adding more music as we make recordings for the women's prison and the Cosgrove center.

You can also hear Renovare on March 12 by attending Pangea's Playhouse, a California-based virtual performing arts series. We're delighted to be featured artists that evening, when we'll be sharing a bit of Renovare's story in addition to some fun music.
